Hello Andrew. Did you like the K'NEX seismic tower?

Our group made a working seismograph. I worked with Nicole and Katie on this project.

One of our challenges was making the pen move.

We shook the box to simulate an earthquake so we could see the pen move.

What surprised me was that the seismograph worked and we did a good job.

How many seismographs are there in the world?

3 things i learned within the UCSD seismic presentation were:

1. what a seismic graph is.

2. The core of Earth is as hot as the sun.

3. The tectonic plates move when there is an earthquake.
